Some thoughts while sitting at work:

I have ADHD

I'd like to craft my life to acknowledge that and play to my strengths

I would say I'm somewhat weary of fighting who I am and what I am

I'm recovering from PTSD

That's something where I have significantly changed

What is the best type of layout of a day for me??

I can be too intense

Is that okay?

I'm a One and a driver

Don't judge!

Not everyone is the same

Be kind to people that are hardest for you

Have good boundaries, but be kind. See the best in them. Stop the hate and the personalizing of people's worst characteristics. Don't be so harsh and judgmental. Be as kind as possible.

I spent a lot of time this am in bed meditating and reviewing notes from the past several sessions w/ Kay. How do I set an intention for the start of a day? What am I about each day? How do I manage this stress?

It helped a lot.

Right now, I’m meditating and also starting to pray again. I read a great definition of prayer recently by Rohr of course… that being to imagine a different future for the person or situation that was current events are moving things toward. I could feel the rightness of that in my body. So that’s the start.

Setting an intention for me right now is saying the positive things about myself that I love and like… what are those things? Then to identify the areas I’m continuing to work on and what that looks like. How will it look to talk less or dominate the conversation less? Change is hard but worth it!

At the end of the day, starting off w/ meditation sure makes the day calmer and makes it so I can react less which isn’t easy. Worth it though.
